Snail Mail FAQ

What is a snail mail club?

A snail mail club is a subscription where you receive real mail. Letters. Paper. Little creative touches. Things you can hold in your hands.

Unlike a digital newsletter, snail mail shows up in your mailbox. It waits for you. You open it when you are ready.

It is called snail mail because it moves slowly. On purpose. It celebrates the quiet joy of sending and receiving something tangible in a world that often feels rushed and digital.

What is the Midnight Library Snail Mail Club?

The Midnight Library Snail Mail Club is a recurring mail experience.

Members receive thoughtfully made mail. Letters and creative pieces designed to feel cozy, playful, and meaningful.

Nothing loud. Nothing overwhelming. Just something nice to open.

What can I expect?

Every quarter, you will receive a small bundle of joy in your mailbox.

Each mailing includes:

  • A hand-written letter
  • A 4 × 6 fresh art print postcard
  • A curated book of the quarter
  • Stickers
  • A suggested corner of the internet or the world
  • A few surprise goodies 👀

Each piece is chosen and assembled with care. The goal is not quantity. It is feeling.

How often do letters arrive?

Mail is sent quarterly.

Each mailing is meant to feel complete on its own. There is no homework. No pressure to keep up.

Part of the joy of snail mail is the waiting. The anticipation. The surprise of seeing something unexpected in your mailbox.

If something ever feels off, just reach out. We are happy to help.

When are letters sent?

Letters are sent during the second-to-last week of each quarter.

As long as you sign up before the first week of the last month of the quarter, you will receive mail for that quarter.

If you miss the cutoff, your first letter will arrive with the next mailing. No stress. Nothing gets skipped. Just shifted forward.

Part of snail mail is timing. Slow, but dependable.

Who is the Snail Mail Club for?

This club is for people who love small, thoughtful things.

It is for:

  • creatives
  • writers
  • stationery lovers
  • people craving slower rituals
  • anyone who loves receiving beautiful mail

If opening an envelope feels exciting to you, you are probably in the right place.

Do I need to write back?

Not at all.

You are welcome to respond in your own way. Or not respond at all. Both are perfect.

This is not a pen pal exchange. It is a receive-at-your-own-pace kind of thing.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes.

The Snail Mail Club is meant to feel flexible and easy. You can cancel whenever you want.

What if I need to change my address or cancel?

Just email us at vicky@midnightlibrary.co.

We can update your address or end your subscription for you. No stress.

What if I did not get my letter?

Sometimes mail takes the scenic route. Sometimes it gets sent back to us.

We usually wait until the end of the mailing window to allow time for returns. If a letter comes back, we resend it.

If something goes missing, we will reach out to USPS on your behalf. And if all else fails, we will refund you for that mailing.

We want this to feel good. Always.
